Our Story

Bailey’s Bites was born out of love for my Pomeranian, Bailey.

Back when I was working long hours in investment banking, I wanted the very best for her but had no time to cook healthy meals from scratch. I searched for the closest thing to raw feeding that was also practical. I discovered the power of freeze-dried treats: nutrient-packed, flavourful and longer shelf life, it felt like the perfect answer.

But there was a problem. Most freeze-dried treats available in the UK were imported from around the world, losing freshness along the way. Filled with unnecessary additives, or made with meat that lacked traceability.

The other of the “easy” options like air-dried or baked treats were full of starch, fillers, or sugars just to hold their shape. That didn’t sit right with me.

So, I decided to create my own.

With Bailey as my inspiration, I spent months perfecting recipes and formulas, testing until I found the optimal balance of nutrition, crunch, and flavour. Always small-batch, always using premium, locally sourced, human-grade meat.

Bailey’s Bites is more than just a treat, it’s my promise to give pets the same standard of food we expect for ourselves. Even if it costs more to make, that’s okay. Because our pets deserve nothing less than fresh, honest nutrition that helps them stay happy, healthy, and by our side for as long as possible.

Today, Bailey’s Bites is proud to be one of the very few freeze-dried pet treat brands made right here in the UK.
